Matthew
Y. Zborrnik grew up in Amherst, Ohio and built his first table and chair at age
8. After graduating from Swartmore College with a B.A. in Art History, he moved
to Miami where he was Assistant Curator of Exhibitions at the Miami Art Museum.
He started building wood and metal furniture and sculpture soon thereafter, accepting
commissions for a variety of projects, large and small. Over the past twelve years
his work has consistently explored the boundries between sculpture and furniture.
Believing in the power of collaboration, he enjoys working with his clients' specific
needs to design innovative solutions for utilitarian problems. He has recently
built a studio outside of Athens, GA where he lives and works. He has exhibited
his work in Miami, Chicago and Athens, GA and been covered by local and national
press. Email mz@mattz.com Phone: (706)
